Location

The 2025 U23 Men’s and Women’s European Boxing Championships will be held from November 21 to 30, 2025, organized by the Hungarian Boxing Association at Hall A of the BOK Sports Hall Complex in Budapest.

More than 350 boxers from more than 30 countrie are expected to compete in this tournament, which will be the first European Championships organized by European Boxing, the continental division of World Boxing, the world federation recognized by the IOC.

The contests will be held in 10 men’s and 10 women’s weight categories.

Budapest, the Hungarian capital, has a rich history of hosting major international sporting events: in 1997 it staged the Men’s World Championships, in 1985 the Men’s European Championships, as well as the 2000 Men’s Junior World Championships and the 2017 Youth World Championships, among others.

Competition Schedule

The tournament will take place over nine days, with two sessions per day. During the preliminaries, bouts will be held in two rings.
The draw for the 10+10 weight categories will be held on November 22.

Venue

The venue of the Championships is Hall A of the Budapest Olympic Center (BOK).
Built in 2006, the arena has already hosted numerous major events, including the World Fencing and Wrestling Championships, the European Championships in figure skating, women’s basketball, and wrestling, as well as the Chess Olympiad and several professional boxing title fights.
